Social Optimize ("we," "us," or "our") operates socialoptimize.online and the Social Optimize platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data.

Account information: When you register we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password. We never store your password in plain text.
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your credit card number.
Social media credentials: When you connect a platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) we receive and store OAuth access tokens on your behalf. These tokens are used solely to publish content you create in the platform.
Contacts you import: If you upload a contact list (CSV or vCard) or add contacts manually, those records (names, emails, phone numbers) are stored in your account and used only for outreach campaigns you initiate.
Content and usage data: We store the videos, scripts, thumbnails, and jobs you create. We also collect basic usage data (videos produced per month, credits used) to enforce your plan limits.
Log data: Our servers automatically record IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you use the platform. This data is used for security and debugging.
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal information, social media tokens, contacts, and generated content within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer as required by law.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Social media access tokens are stored encrypted in our database. We host on Render's infrastructure which provides SOC 2 compliant data centers.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from logging in.
Social Optimize is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
